Job Description
The Build and Release Engineer is responsible for configuration management, software builds, version control system maintenance and releases. This will require partnering and communicating with Development, QA, Operations, and other groups. The Build and Release Engineer will be responsible for documenting and implementing procedures related to builds and deployments. The Build and Release Engineer will also need to implement and manage a change control process. The Build and Release Engineer is responsible for automating builds, integrating build/test/release process and controlling deployments to multiple environments. Also responsible for building out new environments. There will be a strong emphasis on maintaining branches, support parallel development and tracking all changes within multiple branches.
Has to possess strong communication skills, and be good team player
