- Commercial, consumer-oriented application experience is a plus
- Strong experience with object-oriented software development methodologies and practices
- Strong experience (3+ years) with
- Significant experience (3+ years) with Java, J2EE
- Experience with relational database and financial applications is a plus
- Desktop experience – In the desktop apps area. Windows, C/C++, Multi-threaded programming experience. Understands the app stack very well.
- Online experience – Hosted apps and hosted environment experience. LAMP, Java, C++, Perl, Python, Open source, etc.
- Mobile experience – Apps, framework, porting apps, etc. On JavaME, Symbian, open source, etc.
- A strong commercial product to market background.

Position Responsibilities
• Strong execution focus in driving multiple programs from requirements to delivery
• Ensuring that a program delivers on time with high quality, within budget and in accordance with stated business and technical objectives
• Creating, optimizing and driving structured objectives, schedules, project plans and operating mechanisms across programs and cross-functional teams
• Effectively communicating objectives, plans, status, issues and risks in a timely manner to team members, stakeholders and management
• Holding team members accountable for their commitments, milestones, resources, and deliverables and proactively driving to ensure that these are met
• Identifying potential process improvements and effective implementation of these changes.

Senior Software Engineer – Software Configuration Management – (Req. No – 67660) – sowmya_p@intuit.com
- 5+ years commercial software industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Previous experience in mobile build framework and processes
- Proficiency using configuration management systems (Subversion, CVS, Perforce)
- Good skills in script programming (shell, Tcl, Perl, etc)
- Experience with working with rapid, overlapping product release cycles
- Experience in Source Code branching and merging
- Familiarity with both UNIX (Solaris or Linux) and Windows operating systems

- 10+ years of software quality assurance and/or engineering experience

- 2+ years of experience with J2ME/Mobile application development

- 3+ years experience in Test Automation including GUI and API level for
- Leadership experience in specifying, designing and executing load and performance testing

Essential skills and experience:

- Total experience of 5 or more years

- Strong communication and documentation skills
